Carol Lam
If you know me, you know that reaching the community has always been at the heart of my calling. Wherever God has placed me, I have sought to be present in the neighbourhood—to build relationships and share Christ’s love through everyday life.
When God called me to serve with CCM Toronto, He took that personal passion and expanded it into something far greater.
Today, our team serves on the front lines of urban mission six days a week. Just as Jesus met the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4 and offered living water to thirsty souls, CCM Toronto seeks to be a source of hope in our city through two key areas of ministry: professional services, such as Legal Clinic and Linkage Counseling, and holistic wellness programs that care for people’s physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.
Yet my greatest desire is not simply to see CCM Toronto Centre doing ministry — it is to help every believer recognize that community mission is not a program; it is a way of life. Wherever God has placed us, we have opportunities every day to be the light and the salt in our neighbourhoods, workplaces, and communities.
The Greater Toronto Area presents tremendous opportunities for the gospel. But this mission cannot be carried out alone. Your financial support not only sustains the work of CCM Toronto Centre — it also helps advance a vision of bringing mission back into everyday life.
I invite you to become a ministry partner today. Together, we can reach our city, share Christ’s love, and faithfully embrace the mission God has placed before us.
